Does anyone know where to find accurate specs on different aircraft types- I am interested in 300 and 400 series Cessna specs including fuel burn, payload, etc- trying to help friend choose a piston twin for his business.
Besides the normal specs, you need to consider other items like AD's and required service bulletins. Some of them are recurring and can get expensive. Personally, unless your friend is looking for something pressurized, I would open the field just a little bit and include Navajo's and Barons.
For certain look at the Navajo and Chieftan. Best cabin class piston twin in my opinion. You can't argue with the hauling ability (weight and space) of the PA-31. The airplane is very pilot friendly and also a great intsrument and weather flying machine.
