You won't find many 141 training centers that are cheap. Especially in FL with all the big flight schools here. Don't look too cheap either. You don't want to end up in a Cherokee that is 2000 hrs past TBO because the flight school owner is trying to make a buck.

I can't find any affordable (non-Cessna Pilot Center) accelerated flight training in Florida on the WWW.
Any Suggestions?

When you're all done with the accelerated training, you can do like the Russian and pay for your job. It's the accelerated way to the majors!

In all seriousness, looking at your ratings, all you need it your commercial, multi and then CFI. Go to ATP

Had to go that route didn't you? You piece of sh1t. I didn't buy my job, I earned it with 3 years as a CFI. You don't know me or my story. Hide behind your computer screen like a little punk.

Yes I do. You spent 3 yrs as a CFI, for some reason the regionals wouldn't hire you. So you had to go to GIA, and plop down $30k for your first job.....but they pay you $8 an hour. That's right, THEY"RE PAYING YOU!!! I forgot.

I don't see the point in getting multi ahead of CFI. Kind of expensive you know.
Why do say?

I think accelerated training is a way to save money. If I could go back in time I would go to AllATP as long as I had all the writtens knocked out. My visit there revealed a lot of STRESSED out students trying to tackle it all in 90 days.
Where I live, training for advanced ratings is a financial death trap. When I realized all a need is a good instructor, a good plane, and written prep guide book, I decided to go part 61 from 141 and dig into the books. Any other way seems like a rip off with the way 141 flight schools operate.

There you go assuming again you inexperianced little aviation baby. For just starting out you are pretty pissed at the world. You should have that little "jet glimmer" in your eyes.

I was a CFI for GAA. I paid a discounted rate for the FO program. No I could not get a job. At the time NO AIRLINE was hiring. (except Jet Blue)

I got hired by the company on my own merit and recommendations from employees and Captains. Also my reputation with the company. Otherwise it would have been a timbuilding move, and I would be at another regional right now. You need to learn the difference between PFT and the GAA FO program. Until you step into the building, you can't talk sh1t about anyone from GIA or GAA. You have to see how we do things first.

Come by and see me if you wish and say all that to my face. If, you know so much about us you know where I'm at.

Get your CFI and stay alive through it, and then we can talk. Please do not compare GIA with competency either, as you will be mistaken badly.

The way I see it is they both cost the same either way you do it. I went through a local FBO for all my ratings but ME, because ATP offered it for less money, and their twins are more reliable.
Right now all of ATP's courses are equivilent price wise to the FBO.
All 141 schools I have seen are a complete rip off. The two 141 schools near me want $150 for a 172.

I was just saying to him, that he has his instrument already. Finish up your commercial where you are and head to ATP for the multi. I agree that it is a very stressful program at ATP. Most likely the cost will be the same or less than his FBO. Plus you don't have the "Milking" process flight schools like to add in. I was told at another local FBO that it usually takes 25-35 hours for a multi rating. I **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** near shat myself.

Im contemplating on going to ATP for my CFI, CFII and MEI program in Vegas. Lasts 14 days, and all written test must be completed before showing up. But knowing how stressful the twin training was, I don't know if I want to go through 2 weeks of that.

You got to love these "aviation" bullies. It would be funny if the airports had this same level of talk between pilots. Something tells me they don't.

Or do I need to show up to my first 18,000 a year f/o job with brass knuckles or maybe a gang or something.

Nah, I'm actually a very nice guy. I just like to push his button. Now he wants me to come down to GIA and meat him at the bike racks.
Just having a little late night fun:)

DX is just another un-GIA-educated poster on this forum. Another young pilot fed by aviation rumors from his peers and 4000 time posters on this board who could be 47 year old garbage-men and never flown a plane in their life.

However, his sh1tty comments and personal libel don't fly with me.

I'm at work.

You are correct!!!!!

I have an excuse though.......

rotator cuff injury....insomnia.......no fly for six days.....all a blur now....pain pills and surgery.......give me the before takeoff check........no mommy I don't want to go to school today......
