Does anyone have any good information on Air Cargo Carriers. How is the pay, routes, are they good to work for. Is it hard to get on with them.

Search the cargo forums. This company has been discussed at great lengths.

Former Employee

Hey guys,
Just a quick note, I worked for ACC for two years, and cut my teeth on the Shorts. The most demanding part is the schedule, but you probably know that already. As far as the company, I was outbased and flew the same a/c everyday. Different hubs have different quirks, but you show up for work, do your job and go home. I would recommend them for a time builder, just don't BS them. They know you are building time, and looking to move on. Overall, I would rate them good to very good on maint. Talk to guys flying light twins and hauling freight, some scarey stories there. ACC will do you right if you show up with the right attitude. Times change, when I worked there, you couldn't get a job anywhere unless you had 500 multi. They hired me with much less. Go for it, you can always use a type and an ATP.
