Why can't you jumpseat on FedEx? Most other feeders are allowed to jumpseat on thier mainline. Is there a flowthrough to FedEx from the FedEx feeder system?

I'm not aware of any flow-through to FedEx other than our CEO and D.O. will write a L.O.R. for us to FedEx if we are good employees. I think that many Feeder pilots would be excellent employees for FedEx-all of the time that they spend flying in the FedEx system.

I'm not entirely sure. Part of the challenge with getting on at FedEx is that I believe they require references from 3 of their pilots whom you have flown with in the past. It may be difficult for a lot of people to get the required references that they need.

Yeah, they keep us seperated from the mainline pilots. Also, they can no longer jumpseat on us, so if you do not already know any mainline pilots you are not going to meet them through work.
