We DON'T do this at my airline, because we don't have to. The old timers tell me of a time when they did, because the management was horrendous. If other airlines have problems with their managment, this is one form of rebuttal without a full-blown strike. Ask the Eagle guys, from what I hear they are the masters of slowdown and squawks.
