I really didn't want to be a Captain anyway. All that stress and no prestige...and all those buttons I've got to push on the Turn Flow. Besides, if they're going to fly me in the right seat of the 41, I want to be paid appropriately.

Besides, with my 45% wage cut, maybe they can afford to bring back a furloughee or donate for a write-off the difference to a soup kitchen to feed them.

Every CA being displaced should bid the left seat of the CRJ (if they are senior to the most junior CRJ CA) and/or CRJ FO. Then bid your actual preference for seat/domicile. It will force the company to pay protect you of the highest seat you can hold should you get forced to FRJ FO CVG/BOS or J41 FO IAD since those seats seem to be the most thin.
 
I can't help but think that a regional pilot union would be a benefit as we are entering an era of divide and conquer.
