Just throwing this one out.......What if ACA and SkyWest were to join forces and combine into one company? Drop United and Delta cold and do are own thing with 50-70-100 seat RJ's ???

After they bought a reservation system, ticketing system, advertising and gate space, and tried to market their product as an independent brand...

They would go broke.
 
that and the fact that RJ economics suck.....

Both are good companies but they would need real airliners to compete in the open market. The RJ cannot compete with the 737's, A-3xx, 717, etc. It's just too expensive to buy and operate.

Unless the market only has 45 people traveling on it.

Which ever company has warmer domiciles.

As Jim Morrison once said, "The West is the best". We need domiciles in warmer climates. This el nino winter is kicking my A$$!
