Does anyone know what is going on with the abxair website and employee portal? Havent been able to get on for a few days.

I was just going to ask the same question. Any ideas, Shooter? Surprising to find out how much I count on that access, plus I miss my "hot news"!

If you try to access through AOL there are issues. Using Internet Explorer works best.

When I try to go to the abxair.com website I get an error message stating that the server is not responding. Same thing when trying to connect to the portal.

Just got in touch with the helpdesk. They said it is a problem with a 3rd party (host?) in Chicago. Both the website and crewmember portal are down. No idea when it will be up. Something about a cut fiber optic cable.

I have been having problems with my Jeppview, so they have been having problems, it's not you. I don't know what the deal is, but they may be switching servers around. I hope it is solved soon too. Don't call them about it because they will just tell you to shut down and re-start. That must be line one in the help response folder.

Whenever it's called a 'Help Desk', the people 'Helping' you are trained to tell you it is your fault that it isn't working.

If they cut through a fiber optic cable, it is possible that access is available in some parts of the country and not in others, due to different routing for different areas. Also, if the servers are physically located at ILN, you may be able to access it through the intranet, but not externally.

Just some guesses, I know nothing about their setup, except that it's usually ****ed up.
