ABX furloughs 12

Anyone working at ABX that can confirm these furloughs for sure? How many are getting furloughed and when?
I thought ABX was doing at least decently!

********************, if you got a personal call from one of the chief pilots then i would say that's good enough for me, that sucks sporto, hope you find something soon! I am barely holding on to my job myself and am in the total dark as to what the hell is happening with my company. is the furlough just 12 guys? Is this due to any reductions in flying for DHL, or because of aircraft retirements?

so 12 FE's in all then......is ABX heavy on crews including FE's or is this because of a reduction in DC-8's coming off the line? It sounds to me like perhaps ABX will eventually get rid of their DC-8's to go stricly 2 crew.

So which is it Sporto, certified letters, calls from the chief pilot, make up your mind. I don't know if your info is right but when you make up a story try and keep it straight for at least a couple of posts.
