What is the relationship b/w ABX and Astar?

Who are their customers?

If DHL sells, what would happen to each?

Who is better? Just kidding.

Trying to get the big picture.

1)Contentious.

2)for AStar: Primarily DHLExpress with a smattering of Mil charters
For ABXA: Primarily, but to a lesser degree than AStar, DHLExpress. ANA in Japan and a few charters out of MIA to SA. The ANA thing could turn out to be a gold mine for them.

3) No comment.

4) No Comment.

5) The problem facing both our groups is that the "Big Picture" is going to be radically different come the 2'nd quarter of this year. All bets are off at this point.

Hope this helps,
FAJ

Unfortunately, the big picture isn't really very big.

From one on the ABX side of the field, ditto to everything FAJ said.

There are a number of threads that "explore" the ABX/Astar relationship. Contentious is accurate if perhaps understated.

If DHL sells both companies are in trouble. ABX will probably survive albiet as a much smaller ACMI carrier under the ABX Holdings banner. Astar probably would not.

Over the years I have noticed that those who get the "big picture" tend to disappear. Perhaps Scotty is beaming them up.
