ABX AIR Employees to DHL Employees

Saw this on another board is it true?


Yes, ASTAR's operation moved to ILN on September 10th. What happens is that DHL is going to take full control of ILN, ABX is only going to operate the aircraft to and from ILN. All of the management and employees will become DHL employees instead of ABX Air. The way it should be, ABX should have just the same role as ASTAR, formerly DHL Airways.

The short answer? Who knows. DHL is taking over the newly opened international portion of the hub. ABX Air has a 7 year contract to manage the domestic side. Lots of rumours, no real facts.

Watched bus loads of ABX employees filling out apps in building 11, do not know for what positions. To bad they screwed so many DHL employees in the beginning, but that is water under the bridge. Best of luck to the future DHL employees.
