I heard from a member of management that TSA is attempting eliminate all benefits for probationary pilots in their current contract talks.
I agree that this is the right way to handle working at TSA. Don't get caught up in the issues and quietly go about your business. TSA's corporate culture isn't going to change so just view it as a place to get some experience and move on when the time's right. That's what the company wants and expects you to do too. Good luck.Right now you have double the time they are hiring at. So put your stuff in and be ready for a quick interview and class date. Life is what you make it hear. Do your job and go home ie: dont get caught up in what everyone says. I have been here for almost 2 years, been laid off once and still am fairly happy. Stick with the slogan "Get in, Get off, Get out". Get what you need out of the place and get out. They are going to have a class on June 4, and another one July 2. Send your stuff in ASAP.

What are the chances of a CFI with 600/50 (with some right seat turbine/jet) getting hired?
Also, what's the work environment like at TSA?
