Anyone with new info. about Airborne Express? Are they moving forward with the negotiations or pretty much still stalled? Are recalls and newhires a good possibility after an agreement is reached in your opinion?

Stalled

Currently around 42 on furlough. Negotiations have stalled and the pilots had an informational picket at the headquarters in Seattle, airport in Wilmington,Ohio (main base) and Miami on July 31st. Marks the one year anniversary of old contract expiration date. They have not agreed on anything so far. Surplussing DC-9 Captains and FOs as well as 767 FOs and DC-8 FOs. They seem to be proud of the fact their Ground shipments are growing and not their overnight freight. Recently they have lost some senior guys to Southwest, UPS and Jetblue. Maybe they know something?
