Miles O'Brien talks so much shizzle. I'm laughing my butt off at all the bogus stuff this guy is coming up with on live national news.

Funny to see how excited media can get over something like this..

Haha, yeah must be a slow news day. Anyway, I realize it's only a blown tire, but when you've got your nuts hang'n out there like this you wanna make sure you're compensated accordingly. Nice job guys and/or gals!

The best part of the entire coverage was when the reporter asked him how long it would take to jettison enough fuel from a 737 that was scheduled to fly to Tronto so it was light enough to land safely in LAX. He said that to "dump" enough fuel in the 73 should take around 25 minutes.

Gotta love the experts in the media. . .

This is the scary part. You fellow aviators see how WRONG they get it in our industry. You military guys see how wrong they get the military coverage.

JUST THINK HOW WRONG THEY GET VERY THING ELSE you don't have an understanding for. SCARY!

They just hit the wave tops. They "drive-by" with their coverage and leave the clean up to others.

A disgrace to "journalism." All in the name of getting it out first.

hilarious how CNNHN watched a perfectly fine 75 land w/ baited breath (literally tense breathing in their mic's) - wrong plane. 'Oh- let's do that over again, this is the right plane. We think.'

classic.

Not unlike the FOX News gem with Geraldo during Gustav coverage in LA yelling about the man in the water. Yet, even after they discovered it was a corp of engineers worker securing a propane tank, they still felt the need to report it was a stranded victim on the verge of death and miraculously, the corp of engineers were there to save him.

Proof positive that anybody who believes anything on TV anymore is an absolute fool.
