An American Airlines flight with a blown engine landed at Nashville International Airport. The plane circled the airport and landed around 8:00pm Central time.

Airport Spokeswoman Cathy Holland says the two-engine MD-80 plane had 105 people on-board. Flight 1307 took off from Nashville shortly after 5pm Central time bound for Los Angeles.

One of the plane's two engines became disabled. Holland says the airplane circled to burn off its nearly six-thousand gallons of fuel.
