No injuries reported. Good job, y'all deserve a cold one!

Yeah, but "the pilot lost control of the hydraulics", and they "veered hard to the left as they landed". Also, it "wasn't a safe situation". The guy on phone must have been paid quite well by MSNBC.

"The pilot lost control of the hydraulics"? That's why I always wear Depends. ;) TC

TC, any idea who?

We'll be watching Purdue - ND tomorrow at the house if you want some beers and burgers, come on by.

Since he "flies alot" he knows that the plane was "out of control"...The media got the drama they were looking for out of this one. Can't help be but frustrated listening ignorance be portrayed at fact. Cheers to the crew for bringing that "out of control plane that was on the verge of spinning out on the runway" to a perfect stop on the centerline.

The story behind the story is congress is looking in to ways to make sure this never happens again.

A MO senator was quoted as saying "these engine fires strand hundreds of travellers every time they happen." He went on to say that "were looking into measures that would compensate the travellers with $600 travel vouchers". Despite the fact that no one paid any more than $350.

---Since when do passengers get paid more than crews for being at the airport.---

Sorry it had to come out somewhere.

I feel better.

Sorry.

Kudos to the flightcrew.
