Is anyone getting hired at AA without a college degree ??

On the US side the answer would be no. A few months ago HR said no one had been hired within the last, I think, 3 years without one. 4 year from accredited school seems to be a requirement, at least for now.

Thanks. I will be done with my degree in about 3 months, so it isnt going to matter I guess as I will have it. I I am applying to both sides and was just curious. I am flying with a copilot who was told by a recruiter at the WIA job fair last week in MCO that they use a point system, and a degree by itself was not a requirement.

That sounds about right. While it may not be a hard requirement right now, only people with one are getting the call.

Good job on the degree. A friend finished his while at a commuter building time and is now at Alaska, which in my opinion is one of the better carriers to be at.

Thank you, It has been a long hard road, but I am glad that I have done it. I know a buddy at Alaska as well and he loves it !
