Did anyone else catch the program on the A380 last night on TLC? I made it a point to watch it because it looked great in previews. At the end I just felt ripped off. It was so generic and riddled with 15 commercial breaks (the show was only 1 hour). I'm sad I can never, ever get that hour of my life back.

yeah, not a particularly insightful documentary. i did like the continued commentary by John Travolta in his captain's uniform though : )

Yea, the captain's uniform. Was that REALLY necessary?? I just thought it added to the gayness.

The AP ran a story over the weekend that said only three or four airports in the U.S. are remotely equipped to handle the 380 and many others don't have the funds for expansion to handle only one or two 380 flights a day. Also, taxiway assignments will have to be altered to handle aircraft passing each other due to the 380s extra span.

I guess we can all say you won't see an A380 at an airport near you (unless you live near JFK, MIA or a few others.

here's an article from CNN

so, even if these 4 or so airports can handle the 380, kinda makes filing alternates a bit interesting.

I'm not surprised. TLC and Discovery have gone wayyy downhill over the past several years.

Letting Paige Davis go isn't helping matters either. What's wrong with these people?

BTW, has anyone else seen the pictures of her doing her little dance? If not, google "Paige Davis Dress".

Page Davis is gone? Off to google. Thanks Brett.

Not yet. Her last show is next month, I think.

Enjoy!

Hey...Has anyone seen Daveman?
