We all know we should do it but we often don't: find some way to back-up the stuff on your hard drive and use it regularly!
My HP gave itself a total lobotomy a couple weeks ago, and I'm still picking up the pieces. (Rescued all the baby pictures, but lost that flying pictures I'd taken at work. Dang...)
