I have always been curious on where my old buddies and instructors ended up. If you are too, just post where your school was and where you made your way through the ranks to where you are now.

I started at Lane Community College in Eugene Oregon 1996-1998. Went through many insructors as they went on to the airlines and cargo. I then went down to Air Desert Pacific in La Verne, CA (no flamers) where I got all of my multi-engine time. 1998-1999. I ended up at Mesaba where I still sit. Anybody that may have crossed my path let me know.

I know a funny Irishman that called the fuel truck a Bowser. Always reminded me of Super Mario Brothers.

Soloed in a Luscombe at JAARS Townsend Field on 2/8/71.Got my private through a waiver with the FAA when I was 16. After my senior year in Colombia I got to fly a lot with the JAARS pilots there Evangel and Helio. Went one year to Dallas Bible College where I got my commercial. Went to Letourneau College Longview, Texas where I got all the rest of my ratings on the side with JC Harder from Palmer,AK. Spent 4 years at Letourneau fininshing up my A+P, never got my BS as I couldn't get past Calculus. I wasn't able to get my 2 year degree either because I finished with a 1.98 GPA. But I worked my way through college and went I left I didn't owe them a dime.Moved to Illinois and started a 135 operation Gardner Express. Did that for 12 years which included 4 years of contract flying in Bristol Bay Alaska. Also flew the Murk Family all around the Americas a singing group, and did numerous missionary flights to and from South America. Was part time corporate pilot for American Antenna out of Elgin.

Moved to Florida to fly the DC-3 for Mission Aviation Fellowhsip. Did that for a year then went with Eastern Air Lines on the 727 till the end. Next flew for Jetflite out of Ft. Lauderdale, and also Lynx Air International. Started as DOM for AeroGroup with a bunch of Learjets and Hawkers became DOO and was there 4 years. Finally ended my Lear flying by flying for George Rivera out of PIE. From there I went wit Miami Air International in 96 and have been there ever since.

Been married 27 years to the same women and have had 7 kids with her. Life is good.

I suggested to the forum admin folks a while back that they implement a forum devoted to finding lost friends. Pprune has one called "Where Are They Now ? " that gets a fair amount of action. We've all got someone we've lost track of but would like to communicate with now.It's a great idea, but I never heard anything else about it.
