All the schools teach the same basic curriculum as required by the FAA. This gets you through the tests. The difference in the schools is the experience level of the instructors and the equipment available. From what I've seen none of them qualify you to do much of anything besides get a job and learn. That being said the best deal is to get the license as cheaply as you can. In hiring A & P's I am more interested in mechanical aptitude than which school they went to. I did Spartan's A&P program in 02-03. Very good program. Last i heard it costs about $35,000 now!! That does include tools. It might also include housing, they now have housing behind the school. Oh, and you still get free ground school for your private.
 
I'm getting mine at a college in AZ for--get this--$7,500! (Before living expenses).

Just having a hoot, too! 15 month program.
