A family member of mine may be interested in obtaining his A&P. As he lives in the RDU area, I'm interested to find out of good schools in that area, preferably something that be accommodating of someone who'd want to go to classes part-time.

Thank you for your replies.

Dont know about RDU, but Guilford Tech in GSO has an A&P program, and I think Leinor Co. Community COllege in Kinston has one too.

There is a school in Conway, South Carolina.
North American Institute of Aviation, www.aaiasc.com
I do not think they offer a part time program.
I don't know if anyone has a part time course that is
FAA approved for the basis of qualifying to take your A&P tests.

A&P school near Raleigh

Goldsboro, NC

Longest running pubic airframe and powerplant school on east coast. Nearest to Raleigh/triangle.
Not at bad drive if you use proper route. One hour or so depending on your exact location.
