Wondering if there are any A&P forums out there like this one is for pilots. I got my A&P several years ago but all I have ever worked with are Navy Aircraft. Wold like to get some scope on what people are doing.

Also I am thinking of buying an airplane to complete my ratings and then have it to fly and I am wondering what all I can do myself on it without having to go to an IA.

TIA

Those who can, do. Those who can't, talk. Generally speaking, there are those who do, and those who talk.
Pilot boards abound because pilots love to talk about themselves, sit around, and whine.

In my experience, Mechanics, generally speaking, are far too busy doing, to sit around whining and talking.
