Difference
The difference is that for the most part, Lorenzo was a scavenger. He was trying to buy assets cheap and eith cut the costs and operate or dispose of the hidden reserve assets.
JO is more just an operator who has created his own little niche being tough and to some degree creative.
You guys give much more credence to the union bustiing as a motivator than it is. From their perspective, they want the maximum productivity while keeping their costs low. Flight crew salaries are but a small part of what is their overall philosophy.
