A fun game to play in the cockpit...

Besides "find the porn"... this game is about as fun as you can make it given the materials you have at your will.

Materials required:
1 USA Today
1 captain or FO who is literate and social
1 pen (preferably stolen from your hotel the night before)

You flip to that page with "News from all 50 states" and you each pick a state and read (aloud works best) each little story. The one with the "worse" news gets a point. Repeat ad nauseum until you've finished all the stories.

It may not sound too fun, but some of those stories are borderline ridiculous, and it'll kill an hour and a half or so on one of those ridiculously boring legs.

Anyone got any other stupid stuff they do to kill time? Save your Ipod and book rhetoric for elsewhere.

Wow, that is true boredom. How about just messing around with the flight attendant(s) to see how gullible they are. Call em' on the interphone and order up a Mile High Mojito. :beer:

Fun Game...

Items required......

-Dork with USA Today who wants to have fun
-Pen
-Whiffle ball bat

-When aforementioned dork states that he is bored and has fun game to play, the real fun begins.....

1-Grab dork by shirt collar
2-Brandish whiffle ball bat
3-Begin beating about head and shoulders w/whiffle ball bat
4-Continue beating until dork either cries "uncle" or eats said pen or entire USA Today-players choice

-I haven't really figured out how to keep score, but it really isn't important, the object of this game is to entertain oneself while aministering social justice.

Altitude Golf- you select an altitude (ie 240) while in cruise at 360...make it a par 3, spin the alt selector till you get 240, and the number of times it takes is your stroke count...set up a couple of holes like this.
