So would it be safe to say that most of you think that if I started the process now that upon completion of IOE I would have a good chance of DFW already or within 90 days or so?

Kind of hard to say for sure, but personally I would bet that is very possible.

Hard to say. There are occasional CRJ slots available for new-hires. Now here's the catch: If you get awarded the ERJ, you are stuck with it. You cannot bid "down" to a prop or "up" to a CRJ. You can be displaced to it, if you so declare it on your displacement bid. NOW... if you get hired into a prop, you may bid the CRJ after your aircraft seat lock is expired. If you get hired into the CRJ, you are stuck too. ERJ schedules are better: More base transfer options in addition to more aircraft (more lines to pick from).
