Reserve helicopters
The units you speak of are:
AFRES
301st Patrick AFB, FL
305th Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ
ANG
106th Gabreski ANGB, NY
129th Moffet Field, CA
210th Kulis ANGB, AK
They are ALL hiring. At the 106th we are short about 10 helicopter pilots but we do not get many training slots a year. The optimum would be a H-60 qualified pilot but any military helicopter or fixed-wing guy (or gal) is viewed positively. If you wish to come in as a civilian, it may take a couple of years to get a slot. And it goes without saying that local residents are preferred in all units.
The number for the 101st Squadron Commander (106th Rescue Wing at Gabreski) is 631 723-7404. Call and discuss your future with him. As for numbers to the other units, I would do a web search or call information. It is all a matter of where you wish to work.
Good luck,
SB
