Anyone get into A/C ferrying?...Im about to get my Single/Multi Commercial...just lookin for little ways to pick up some cash while gettin my CFI...any hits on how to get some clients?...Thanks a bunch!

Based on my experience, you need to have logged some time in the type of airplane you are going to be ferrying unless it is something like a C-172 (assuming you have some high-wing airplane experience). You are probably also going to need at least 500 total time and maybe your own insurance. I broker at my airport prefers a CFI certificate too. The insurance thing can be the big one. Some brokers' insurance plans won't cover the ferry pilot unless he/she is the broker. Don't give up though. You may be able to sit in the right seat on a couple flights to get some experience.

Good luck on the commercial certificate checkrides!

Well......

Well looks like it's my turn now to sit around thr airport and start begging :)....Thank you all!
