Very unfortunate. News report said it was a Q2. I've heard those things are very sensitive to variations in wing incidence making them hard to handle.

Also broke one of the basic test flying rules. don't allow spectators to be there, and darn sure don't bring your family to watch. Just a few capable adults with transportation, some basic emergency equipment and a way to call for help.
