I don't know if any of you caught the article in Aviation International news about the BA A319 that lost almost all electrical displays and flight information displays during climbout from London to Budapest.
Aparently, at FL200, everything went zap!....gone. After 40 minutes of circling, they restored almost all systems, and the #1 transformer/rectifier remained unservicable, as did the captain's windshield heat. THEN THEY ELECTED TO CONTINUE THE 2 HOUR FLIGHT TO BUDAPEST.
WTF?? You just took off out of London, lost all displays and don't know why, you are circling just over London, restore 90% of your stuff, and elect to continue a 2 hour night flight to Budapest?
