A-380 Flyover

The A-380 just did two approaches at ICT to show appreciation for those who designed and engineered the wing section here in Wichita. Got some cool pics. That is a pretty impressive airplane but doesn't appear as large as I thought it would. Just a superfat (all along the fuselage) and bloated 747 (by all accounts). The wings are very cool looking from behind in landing profile.

Yeah, I was out there too...pretty impressive! You're over on the cargo ramp, right? I was hoping they'd do the fly-bys on 19L by our hangar. It was still a pretty cool thing to watch.

I was actually in a parking lot on Ridge. Just checking it out before heading to the office. I don't work at the airport.
