Well, Fellow Aviators, things should start to improve now!
...except for you aviators who are deployed/deploying in support of OIF/OEF.

Now, that we have made it thru 9-11, without a catastrophe,
...because nobody has died, right?

we should see a rise in passenger confidence. I believe we will also see a better stock market.

The only unknown is the War; It could slow the Airline recovery should things go bad.
...whew!! the stock market, pax having a warm fuzzy...yea thank god for those things.

I am optimistic.... Look for 2003 to be a much better year for us Professional Aviators..
"I am optimistic" because I don't have to spend a year away from home in a combat zone getting shot at. "Look for 2003 to be a much better year for us Professional Aviators" who are safe at home. You folks in the military don't count as Professional Aviators, obviously.

Good Luck.

Yea, yea, yea...dripping with sarcasm, but this really torqued me. DesertFalcon, we, Americans, are burying two more Professional Aviators this week. “We” have not made it through 9-11. “We” are still neck deep in it.

But some of you fail to realize that the US gets the majority of its imported oil from South America. If memory serves we only get about 6% from the middle east.

deadstick,

why are you getting all torqued up over a post that's almost 2 years old?

DesertFalcon made his thread pre-OIF.

Get off his case.

slide33,

After I read your post, I was saying "WTF!?!?!" Just noticed the date and then found out how it got bumped up.

Point. Set. Match. I had an instructor at the schoolhouse who always said "R.T.F.Q.," "Read The.......FULL Question," or a less civil version.

Slide33....

Thanks for the support.
I was wondering what was happening here?
