You can now fill out 8710 online, I lost the **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** link though.. Anyone care to help.

I was trying to search on the FAA site. Yeah it's astonishing.

That's actually not what I'm looking for. This is a fully electronic online 8710; signed with a number you get after registering. A guy showed me today, but the link I copied is wrong. Anyone know what I’m talking about? The link is something like http//acrafaa.gov/iacra

You may be thinking of "IACRA". There's ACRA and IACRA. IACRA is the fully electronic, online way of getting your certificate, and ACRA is just a way to print off the 8710 and other forms.

Don't put the "www" in there. I don't know why, but it doesn't work if you do.

Remember that the applicant, instructor and examiner all have to sign in to IACRA for it to work. There is no paper 8710 with it, the only paper anything is the temp. certificate printed out right after the checkride is finished.

The first couple of times you use it for a checkride, it's a pain, but after a few times, it's not that bad but it does take 5 times longer to apply using IACRA rather than the old fashioned 8710. Some examiners are asking for it, (it makes their job easier, no paperwork at all for them).

The neat thing about the Juneau site is that a lot of forms are offered in MS Word, so you can easily input the info and print it. In fact, you can save your information by saving the form, and update the info each time you need to file an 8710.

I used it when I re-upped my instructor certs last year. My local FSDO had no idea this was on another FSDO site.
