"Here it's taking a taxi test where it reached 150mph"

Maybe Southwest will be interested after all.....

Never happen. We're a domestic carrier. We farm out all of our trans-border segments. Oh well, maybe Volaris will buy them so we can jumpseat.

Gup

Hey Diesel,

What's the likelihood that Delta/NWA will actually end up flying the 787? I thought I read that 777s were preferred for whatever reason... Any predictions about the 787 at Delta?

DL is very wary about the airplane... upper management is really ticked at boeing with the whole process, and is worried that the airplane won't perform.

Most recently they seemed to indicate waiting for the 787-9 which will come closer to the range/payload specs they are looking for.

That's enough kool-aid for now...

This airplane is great for Boeing and the public. But as a pilot I just see another boring magenta line airplane. It was all down hill after the L1011 and Boeing 727 days. Just my opinion as a pilot/aviator.

Is anyone actually getting the webcast on the Boeing site. I tried and can't get it to work.

Its being shown live on Bloomberg.
