Hi folks--

I'm going on a long trip next month and need to know what kind of headset jack the 777 has. Is it the standard single prong electronic jack? Double? The dreaded dual tube acoustic jack?

Yeah, I'm talking coach here...:)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not sure if it varies between airlines, but the DAL planes have the dual prong metal version. I know they sell them for $2 and you get to keep them for use on later flights. About time by the way.

I sat in coach from California to Atlanta and was very content to have my own tv screen and choices between 4 or 5 movies.

Have a good trip.

If your not on delta and are looking for the two pronged metal jack, you can buy a Maxell Headphone Adapter set (about $20 from Best Buy), it has that little two pronged thing. That turns it into the standard mini plug, now if you want to enter yourself into the annuls of the dorky pilot thread, you can take that and plug it into a headset adapter. :p
