747 Start-Up (Company name to be announced soon) is a new B747-200 operation with plans to start operations fall 2004. The Company is currently seeking highly qualified B747 CAPT & FE Check Airman and Crewmembers (CAPT, FO, FE/PFE). HDQ in the SE.

2004 what? They are still in the certification process. if you have ever worked with the Seattle FSDO, you know how verrryyy slow they can be. The CSAT team is still involved at this time so it could be very late in the year before they are launched. 3 Boeing 747's. 2 -200's and 1 -300. All freighters.
 
The three founders are all former Delta. They plan on initially operating 3 747-200s and adding 2 more aircraft per year (eventually getting -400s). They are going to be operating under the wing of Korean Air and all the routes will be between Seoul/Inchon to Anchorage to multiple destinations in CONUS. As of earlier this year, they wanted to hire the initial cadre of pilots in summer of '05, but it looks like that is continuing to slide to the right.
