Ok, here's a question about something only a geek like me would notice.

While traveling on an America West 737, I noticed a rather bulbous fairing on the wingtips. It was just forward of the aft nav light. UAL's 737 do not have such a thing on their 737's. I doubt America West carry SAM warning gear, so any ideas what this thing is???

Thanks.

What you are seeing is a logo light that lights up the tail at night. Some of our aircraft at SWA have them but they are not used. I know Continental uses theirs.
