Which manual do you Southwest pilots have, use...Is it the
burgandy covered one?

Thanks for your help. (Soon to be Southwest pilot)

I have the burgandy covered one (-300 to -900). There is a SWA version that only covers the 300, 500, and 700 models only.

I got the SW one with the 3-5-7. I didn't want to confuse myself more then I will already be. It's a very indepth book and seems like it will really help for class.

THe Book!

You will get a chance to order the book when you are in class.....alone with a FMC guide. Have never really used mine......but nice to have. If you want to get ready for class........kick back and have a beer.....cooperate and graduate! Just know the flows and calls

it will help, but even better it is small enough to put in the brain bag for on the road so when something comes up etc. you can reference it. the flight reference manuals they give you in class would be too much to haul on every trip... and to be honest all the same info is in the bulfer book, just condenced. highly recommended.

For sure Bill Bulfer cockpit companion and fmc user guides are the best resource for the 737 Classics and NG.
