wood used in construction?

Here's an even more trivial 727 question... I was told once that Boeing actually used some wood in the construction of the 727. Can anybody tell me where????

Yeah....The FE tabletop is wood

The covers for the gear viewports are wood.

There is a small piece of wood attached to the FE panel that keeps the FO's seat from slamming into the panel.

dont forget the wood on the back of the fuel dump door

(which bleed--kinda depends on the engine the RR Tay is different than the JT8)

starvingcfithis thread is the reason i left purdue  boiler dorks

Great reasoning...

This thread is all about going above and beyond... Learning more than what is required of you. This is actually a characteristic of a true professional, what people like you call dorks. :D

Unless you want to continue to be a starving CFI you might want to examine this notion.

My two cents.

Sincerely yours,
