I vote for the L188 Electra for historical reasons. Rollin King's original SWA concept was in that airplane.

At least the EMB-145 rides like chit and is noisy in the cockpit, I think these disposable new generation A/C are nothing we Pilots should want, I would prefer boeing come up with something efficient, at least I know it will be a pleasure to fly!

Think geared turbo-fan

Looks like it might be the re-engined 737. Orders just announced for 496 planes split between 5 carriers. Is this the nail in the coffin for the 717?

I hope GK goes for more American Made Boeings! Keep the jobs in the USA!
The 717 days have been numbered for a long time, however, it's a solid aircraft with good numbers running up and down the east coast.

Do-X? Now that's funny!

I was thinking the NC-2.

Heard management likes the C-1000!

Your boys were at Bombardier C Series meetings during the Paris Air Show. Bombardier had the cabin mockup with "Southwest" over the L1 door.

Although I assume that Bombardier wasn't the only product that they looked at.

FWIW.
