Why would that be so doubtful? If I remember correctly, there's at least one King Air model that has 331's on it.

Because the B-100 had 331's on it. The Walther engines were put on PT-6 powered 90's. Very different. The PT-6 and the Walther are very similar. The 331's are not. Yhe only reason the 331's were put on the B-100 was due to a strike at Pratt & Whittney.
