According to news outlets, the kid's family participated in the reality TV series "wife swap". Looks like they were looking for some extra national TV attention maybe...

Now "Falcon" is apparently hiding in Ft Collins in fear of retribution -- or because he realized his parents were smoking Jamaican Red when they named him.
 
The Dad's a bit of a nutter. Here's his claim that NASA covered up evidence of an alien civilization on Mars.

I hope the kid's ok, but I smell a hoax.

The kid was going to be in the balloon but his dad wanted him to fly it for a "b-scale" allowance. The kid, already having bigger b@lls than us professionals, immediately walked off the job.
