I still think the best single engine airplane is the 182rg. It's 160 kts with gap seals that has 1150 NM range that can hull 4 fat assess, luguage and full tanks at a fraction of the cost. parts rarely break, if the do they cost 1/3 a banana part.

its the location of those main wheels. too far forward.
but heres how i did it. and dont forget theres some small storage behind the pilots seat and in front of the backwards facing seats.
-4 fat-asses and a shorter fat-ass in an A36. take a fat-ass, put him on the wing outisde the front door. load your other fat-asses in back club-seating. then you climb up on the wing (step lightly on the step or youll make the tail hit the gorund then come back up when youre inside) and got my own fat-ass in. then the fat-ass on the wing gets in and closes the door, you check it to make sure it dosent pop open....of you go. be smooth witht eh power changes so a sudden reduction of power on the ground dosent cause theplane to tip over backwards.

so howcome noone has thought of the Commanche-400?
thats right...an O-720, 400hp, 190kts....and thats before speed mods.

but then dont forget the fast4est BO of htem all....isnt it the F35? a short body 300hp plane? how fast was that?
