Rumor running around CAL is that there's 500 pilots at UAL that currently don't have a position and were to be furloughed this year, but the recent agreement prevented that. True or False United people?

500 = FALSE

There was "talk" of an additional very small furlough as UA transitions to the "winter" schedule but that was squashed even prior to the agreement since UA is staffed razor thin in every fleet and seat. Nothing to see here.

Actually, skywest didn't have enough rj's to cover the extra flying U wanted to get rid of, so they decided not park some buses and furlough the pilots .
