WALKING' THE LINE... AGAIN
Lace up your walking shoes and get ready for some circular activities in Atlanta August 8. From 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon that Wednesday, we’ll be conducting informational picketing at the Atlanta airport. . Come on out and show management you’re not going to put up with more contract stalling.

This just proves my point, ALPA controls nothing.
All it has is members and some cash.

After 5 years, and this the best you can come up with.

I thought it was up to the NMB?
We could be doing "picketing" on the moon.
Who cares?

You're the reason...

Want to blame someone for 5 yrs. of negotiations, blame yourself.....

Chuckleheads like you who don't care combined with adversarial mgmt. have/will continue to ruin this place.

The only way to get anything better for anyone in this industry is thru actions like this-blasting the people who actually go and participate hurts us all.

Face it, we are union-represented. Most airlines everywhere are union-represented. It is the way business is done. If you want to settle for non-union stuff, get your butt back down to the FBO and fly a 150 again. If that was so great, and times were so awesome instructing there without a union, why the hell didn't you just stay?

-Retards!

WHAT!!!!

Why doesn't the NMB release both sides into a 30 day cooling off period already? After 5 years enough is enough

The answer to that question is easy: George W. Bush and his most virulent anti-labor anti-common-people government. Under W., there is not a single gov't agency with any independence whatsoever.

The blame can go around.

ALPA has no pull and ASA pilots just keep doing the same old thing. Stop using your cell phones, fatigue etc. No one stands up.

Anti-ALPA....

To clarify-
If anyone here wants to totally blame ALPA for this crap-then just hike it on to someplace without ALPA and see how great life is. There are tons of crappy freight ops and puke-a$$ flight schools all around. Just go and work for one of them if ALPA sucks so bad-get back to me on how you like life then!

I don't think it is logical to badmouth our ALPA so much when the problem is the NMB. Those guys are totally responsible for this silliness. Due to the RLA, we are totally dependent on them for a release.

And every single union-bashing guy working at an airline today is a complete hypocrite! The day you are involved in any type of incident, or have medical troubles, your first call will be to ALPA for help. They will actually send you help, despite the fact that you are an undeserving clown!

-Pick a Side!

Ditto, go someplace that only gives you the FAA required 24 in 7, and not necessarily in domicile. I'm not an ALPA head-banger, but I know ASA would be that kind of place. In fact, they TRY to be that kind of place with ALPA. At least with a union you can raise the flag and have some kind of advocate.
