I asked this question last year.......just want to know what the favs are....

4 kinds of planes..
Props ( ATR. DASH BE 1900..ETC)
Classics ( DC-3 CV 330 DC'S...ETC)
Airlines ( B757 A320 L1011...ETC)
Corporates ( LR-JET'S CE500 DA-50 ...ETC)

IF you could have one of each for fun. NOT FOR WORK OR FOR THE MONEY... JUST FOR FUN. what would you get.

don't have to be the ones in the list... It's your favorites....
Thnks and have fun....

Props: MU-2, just for fun.

DC-3, just for the history of it.

Concorde, just to go supersonic since I've been all civilian.

Gulfstream - always wanted to fly one of those. G-II thru G-V, doesn't matter.

Easy answer:

Lockheed Constellation...preferably the 1649A
Lockheed Electra...L188A
Lockheed L1011....-500 or B777
Gulfstream V/550/450

I think I see a trend here.

CV-880/990 - Grandad was head of quality control at Convair San Diego for the 880/990 and delivered most of the 880's to the airlines. Because of the family history I would love to get this one.

B-707/720
DC-8
Connie

Props: L382
Classics: L1049
Airlines: FO4 or Concorde
Corporate: NA265

Props -- the Herc
Classics -- the Connie
Airliner -- L1011 (rode up front a couple times... what a machine...)
Corporate -- S-70

Props: MU-2, just for fun.

When did the MU2 require a type??? :-)

I know what your saying though. probably the most fun, and most scary plane I've ever flown.

ATR
Connie
DC-9 or MD80
LRJT

Yeah, disregard my screen name. I'd love to fly a lear23/24

..
Prop - Loughheed Electra
Classic - Howard 500
Airlines - L1011
Corporate - Falcon50

DH106 Comet 1 (assuming it's not going to blow up on me, and even though one hasn't flown since the 1960's) or the Vulcan.

Tprop = Dash 8
Classic = DC 3
Airliner = 777 or 747-400
Biz Jet = GV (450/550)

Oh well, 3 out of 4 ain't too shabby, I can always dream about the big Boeings :-)

TurboProp - Dornier 328
Classic - Martin 130
Airliner - B777
Corporate - Gulfstream V

I like the one's I've got:

SD3--I don't care what they say about its looks, the Shorts 360 was a blast to fly.

Classic--Never flew one but the Connie would be the one to have, closely followed by the Boeing KC-97 (don't know the civil designation).

Airline--B717. Would have stayed on it till retirement. DC-9 is a close second. Of all the airliners, the -9 would be the most fun to just go fly around the patch.

Corporate--I like the way the G450 feels. The controls on the V/550 are lighter than I'd like.

I've been lucky. TC

Props - I already have the BE1900 so maybe something like a Dash 7 because I remember seeing them a lot when I was a kid.

Classic - probably the DC-3, it's just such an historic aircraft.

Airliner - probably 757/767 because I worked on the 757 program when I was at Boeing and the 757 was always a good performer.

Bizjet - one of the SSBJ's would be very interesting and I'm sometimes intrigued by the Citation X as it's a milestone in bizjets in my opinion. I know I could bid the X but I don't know if I want to be locked into it for 39 months...

Not considering the types I have....

Prop: Piaggio Avanti (does it require a type?)

Classic: Boeing 314 Clipper (flying boat) http://www.boeing.com/companyoffices/gallery/C8O-314.html

Airliner: Concorde

BizJet: Falcon 7X

Since this is just for fun, I'll add military: P51, F4, F15, F22, F23(vtol) & V22

My Take

Prop= My Bonanza on my schedule
Classic= My Bonanza on my schedule
Airline= None, the airlines are why I have a Bonanza
Bizjet= None, can't afford one to fly on my schedule

Prop - BE-1900. I have it and flew it for five years in the northeast. Sort of a badge of honor in this day and age.

Classic - tough call between the DC-3 and Connie. Slight edge to Connie.

Airliner - 707. Maybe Travolta would hire me.

Corporate - Gulfstream. Don't know why other than it has a reputation for being the ultimate pure business jet (as opposed to a BBJ).
