The news media is now reporting that 4 of the muslim animals involved in the be-heading of the american have been captured. Now it is time to give them their own muslim punishment. A public be-heading for alll the arab world to see...

From the news reports, what will cause the most outrage is to make them wear women's underwear on their head and parade them in public.

Listening to the lefties, I am sure this is the worst possible punishment.

Just to clarify the news reports about these arrests.

None of the 5 people in the video tape showing Nick Berg’s execution have been arrested. MSNBC reports that the 4 who have been arrested were “background” people who may have had knowledge of, or were involved in some aspect of the planning.

I would be great if from the arrest by the Iraqi authorities, if they were able to gain intelligence as to the whereabouts of the ones who did the actual deed. Maybe even find Al-Zarqawi.

Speaking for myself only; (As I do not presume to speak for the lefties or the righties.)

If they have proof beyond a reasonable doubt these four persons are indeed responsible for the beheading, I do not care one whit if they hang them from a light pole outside the prison until the birds have picked their bones.

On the other hand, I don't feel killing or grossly humiliating other human beings who are *suspected* of being insurgents, who may or *may not* have committed crimes against Americans, is the proper way to establish a democracy in Iraq, nor trust and cooperation in the population.

Up-date,

Two of the four that were arrested have been released by American officials. They found they had no connection to the Berg killing. Anyone think it's still a good idea to mistreat people who have not been found guilty in a court of law, and merely arrested?

Typical. Hope it's your mother who is swept up next time. Like to see her beheaded in a public square without a trial?

Did you forget, Bart, that the whole reason we are there now that there are no WMD, is to liberate and bring democracy to Iraq. You seem to enjoy being a racial bigot. I can think of no other explanation for your crude posture.

Other than The Army Times calling for Rumsfeld's resignation this week, the most shocking news came from a Red Cross report released in February that said 70 to 90% of detainees in Iraq were innocent of any wrong doing.

If that's the case in Abu Ghraib, then we're definately not making the US any safer from terrorism but we're actually recruiting the terrorist ourselves.

Red Cross Report Describes Systemic Abuse in Iraq

U.S. forces in Iraq often arrested Iraqis without good reason, routinely used excessive force in the early hours of captivity and abused some prisoners for months to extract information from them, the International Committee of the Red Cross told the Bush administration earlier this year.

The treatment of prisoners who were considered valuable intelligence sources or were suspected in attacks against U.S. forces was sometimes "tantamount to torture," the Geneva-based organization wrote in a February report made public today.

Military intelligence officers told Red Cross monitors that 70 to 90 percent of captives in Iraq last year had been arrested by mistake, the report stated. Some Iraqi families roamed the country for weeks trying to uncover the fate of their imprisoned relatives, who had disappeared into the military detention apparatus.

The Red Cross, which sent investigators to 14 detention centers run by the U.S.-led coalition, also documented eight cases in which Iraqi inmates were shot by American guards between April and November 2003. Seven prisoners died and 18 were injured.

Bart seems to be a bigot period. He is so much better than everyone else that a different set of rules applies to him. You can do it to THEM just don't do it to me.

As I look at Bart’s avatar with the band-aid and the words, “STUPID HURTS” across it
I think that it must not hurt, or Bart would be in the hospital near death from some real pain.

I don’t know what Bart looks like in real life, but every time I conjure up a mental image
of him while reading one of his more inane posts, in my minds eye, I see Bart as a
guy with that “Stupid Hurts” band-aid pasted right on his forehead.
