I know some people consider working 15 days in a row a major hassle.. but on the other side of the spectrum, I was wondering if it's possible to do a 30 on/30 off schedule by back-to-backing your days off over joining months. Is this allowed?

Yep. Guys do it all the time.

Depends who you work for.... Past life I worked for a Cargo operator (Gemini), that had some JFK DHL lines that could potentially work out to a month off if your bid it.... Of course, you would pay by being on the road for 20+ days......
