all bases are junior except SBA/PSP/TUS/LAX/SFO/SMF

You could hold a line in 2 months at SLC/ORD

MKE will grow to 70 crews by September. The initial awards only assigned the first 20 crews or so. Another 50 crews there in the next 6-7 months, so I'd expect some newhires there as well. The awards went pretty junior -- 7/28/05 doh for captain. Still have around 30 or so with FO bids in but most don't have MKE as first choice.

SLC has seemed to have slowed down on growth. Haven't awarded a Captain slot in a couple of months now.

How long to be based at the above cities?

SBA, quite a while
PSP, about a year
TUS, not too long
LAX, about the same as PSP, maybe longer
SFO, same as LAX....
SMF, probably around 6 months to a year

remember SFO and LAX have only 2 or 3 crews for each airplane, so if there are people there who are content, it may take a long long time to get there....

reserve time isn't too long right now :bandit:

a close-to industy low of $19 an hour and based in ORD...fantastic.
food stamps anyone?

Forget ORD, how about SBA. its a good thing it takes over a year to hold it. I heard that domicile is all locals. I cant imagine they have crashpads out there. Maybe oprah has a room for rent on craigslist.

COS sucks for commuters. It is a MX base and has a bunch of early AM shows with late PM releases. But it's a nice place to live if you plan to not commute. The new MX hangar should be completed by April and the base should expand a little to accomidate this.

COS does suck for commuters, and u dont wanna live there as a young (single) guy.

Domicile

jan class break down. (not in order)

2 den
12 cos
5 fat
17 slc
9 mke
11 ord

Out of the 56 people in this class what determines who get what domicile? Is it a bid order based on the last 4 digit of your social security # being the lowest gets you first pick?

You're correct unless there are any former employees who will go to the top of the list.

anywhere is a junior base because 3/4 of the scab pilot group havent been out of school for more that 2 years. Let Skywest burn...

maybe you should look up the definition of a scab and make sure you can apply it correctly in a sentence before pulling out that big boy....

WTF man? Are you angry because you didn't start in the regionals until you were 50 or something? Why are you even reading this thread? Unless your a junior FO at Skywest, what do you care where the junior base is?
Calm down your going to blow an O-ring or something

Skywest are scabs because they didnt' pay for training like other "top notch" regionals of the day....
