At least we don't have to sit in those crappy seats. I had a two hour flight in a B757 yesterday and my neck hurts today because of it. I just couldn't find a comfortable position and must have fallen asleep with a crooked neck. Of course, I doubt that Air Marshalls are supposed to sleep while they are on duty.

"As soon as you're hurt, you're done," he said. "Every other law-enforcement agency offers you another position if you're hurt in the line of duty. If I got hurt tomorrow, I would be done, and you just can't treat employees like that."

Welcome to aviation. we all are "treated" like that!

The only affliction I can see listed that would truly cause a problem in my eyes is deep-vein thrombosis. Sitting in those seats for a full-time job would kill me. While I was driving truck in the Nat'l Guard, there would be times where the pain would become damm near unbearable, despite trying to move around or change positions, and airline seats certainly aren't any more comfortable or ergonomic.
